Egoist Body Studios, its concept and décor, aims at providing you with this exact experience. Lina always tells her clients – “ You have to find harmony between what you must do and what you love to do”. Her harmony is within the walls of the Egoist body studios. Having studied Economics at LSE and coming from finance background Lina can relate to her busy clients and cater for their needs.
Pilates in her view is caviar of sports and it shows in her classes. After more than ten years of professional dancing experience first representing Lithuania then Denmark Lina has trained and qualified with Body Control Pilates London, UK.

Michelle Stanley

Yoga Teacher
Michelle is an Appleyoga trained teacher and has practised yoga
for over 12 years, exploring many styles of yoga along the way, including
Sivananda, Ashtanga, Iyengar and Vinyasa Flow yoga. Her class includes elements from many of
these styles of yoga, but is mostly influenced by her love for vinyasa flow yoga. Her teaching style is friendly, fun and
informative; there is an opportunity to explore an understanding of
the mechanics of the body and how yoga arises from this; rather than as an
aesthetic art for the external observer.
Michelle teaches with the needs of the
stressed-out, city-living individual in mind; focusing on the synchronization
of breath and mindful movement, helping to bring body, mind and spirit into
alignment. Classes are strong, steady,
and light-hearted; physically challenging, whilst providing the time to deeply
relax, restore and recharge. Michelle is
deeply thankful for all the teachers she has encountered on her yoga journey so
far.

Austeja Pozeraite

Yoga teacher
Austeja first encountered yoga as a moving meditation six years ago and since then it has been an on-going inspiring journey towards the discovery of the true self. She found that the fast pace of life where you are being constantly bombarded with messages, encouraged and even forced to compete to get a better job, better life, or just to get on the train during the rush hour made stress and anxiety more common in her daily life. All these factors combined to make it rather impossible to live in peace. Moreover, Austeja was suffering from the severe back ache and was advised by specialists to try yoga. To her surprise she noticed the mental and physical benefits of yoga after just a few sessions, and so continued the practice. Yoga taught Austeja how to stop and rest and breathe... “Since then yoga teachings not just assisted in soothing away mental tensions and increased my flexibility and stamina, but also continue to subtly benefit all aspects of my life.”

Katie Morrison
Yoga Teacher
I
have been practicing Yoga for around 7 years, and been teaching for just over a
year. I learnt about the Art and Science of Vinyasa flow at Yeotown in Devon,
with the amazing Mecedes Ngoh. I attend workshops all over London to find
inspiration from other great teachers, as well as running my own and teaching
classes whenever I can.
I
teach Vinyasa Flow, which is a dynamic powerful Yoga built around creative
sequencing and sun salutations, classic standing Asanas and also grounding
floor postures. I build the class around a ‘peak posture’ and every class is
different, as I will focus on a different area of the body. It is physically
challenging and you will get sweaty! I also create a modern soundtrack/playlist
to accompany you through the different paces of the class.

for 15 years and working in the field of holistic health for over 25 years! She teaches in an alignment-based flowing

Editor of Tatler: “There is no one who teaches yoga quite like freckled faced Amber Scott
– with grace, calm, statuesque poise and a wisdom of the ancients which
isn’t in the least bit holier-than-thou. Her unique methods, always
done at your own pace, will gently ease away mental stress, tune you in
to your body’s needs, and readjust your posture so you feel stronger and
taller. A rising star, you’ll soon wonder what you did without her’. ”

Lex

Vinyassa flow teacher
Lex is accredited by the Yoga Alliance
and has been practicing yoga for over 10 years. Although he has studied with many
teachers, he thinks of Yogi Ram of Rishikesh and Don and Amber Stapleton of The
Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica (formerly of Kripalu) as his main
influences; the former being a very traditional Hatha Guru from the foothills
of the Himalayas and the latter, teachers of interdisciplinary yoga (a blend of
Vinyasa, Yin, Faldenkrais, Somatics, Iyengar and Ashtanga).
His classes incorporate aspects of all
these traditions within a Vinyasa flow context.
Open to both beginners and experienced
students, Lex believes it is very important for the individual to make each
asana an expression of their own body type and state of mind, whilst
encouraging the release of old blockages and limiting thought patterns through
a combination of breath, movement and awareness.
An accredited shiatsu masseur and
hypnotherapist, Lex also has special interest in Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep) which
is a mixture of relaxation and deep observational awareness of the breath, body
and mind, all of which are incorporated into his sadhana.
"moving with the grace of a divine
force is as much about falling on your bum as it is about flowing with a
perfect alignment.
when both are executed and observed with
humility and acceptance, both become the actions of a god". - Lex
